1. Respect everyone in the pack. This means gender identities (pronouns and preferred names), sexual orientations, different kintypes, religious beliefs, etc.
2. When posting on the pack account, please keep your posts relevant and grammatically correct.
3. Be active! This is highly important! If a Pup isn't active, their chances of getting accepted into the pack are limited if they don't inform the Alpha of impending inactivity. If a full-fledged member becomes inactive without warning the Alpha, they may be removed during the next rank ceremony.
4. Don't be afraid to participate in the pack chat! Just jump on in during a conversation; everyone will be glad to have another member's input.
5. Be yourself! We want to know who you are as a member of Astrovaruna Pack.
6. All members must have Kik to join, as that is where our pack chat is and all the activity takes place.
7. If you ever discover a new kintype, please alert the Alpha of this change. They keep a list of the members, their age, rank, kintypes, and time zone. This is for organization purposes.
8. Members are not permitted to be in multiple packs. We are a family and we want to be viewed as such, considering we view our members - even new Pups - as family.
We have two methods that you can use to join our pack when we're accepting members.
Every full moon we will hold a ceremony (very dramatic, we know) where members will either receive a pack rank or be told to leave the pack. If a member is told to leave, it's simply because we don't think they are right for Astrovaruna Pack. It is not personal. Ceremonies will involve simply declaring the ranks of the new members and giving them access to post on this account whenever they wish, and about whatever they wish. There will be a post following the ceremonies introducing new members and ranks. Ceremonies will take place in the pack chat.
The pack leaders. They founded the pack and they decide on members' ranks. They will be there for members whenever they need them; they're the parental figures for the pack. Their word is the word.
The second-in-charge pack member. They help the Alphas make important decisions and they are trustworthy. If the Alphas are unable to be there for the pack for any reason, the Betas take over.
A pack member who is older than both of the Alphas and are knowledgable on otherkin, therianthropy, and their surrounding communities.
A pack member who the Alphas assign duties to carry out. The Omegas are trusted by the Alphas wholeheartedly.
A pack member without duty or responsibility.
A potential member. The rank will be changed, as decided by the Alphas (possibly with the help of Betas) upon becoming a full-fledged pack member.
